Step Aerobics is a fun and invigorating combination of movement, music and mental focus that always makes for a great workout.


Step Classes get your heart and lungs in shape, tone your muscles and help improve coordination. Step aerobics is a terrific cross-training activity for runners, cyclists, and walkers and can also help with balance and flexibility.


Despite its simplicity, Step Aerobics is a very hard-working exercise that increases your cardiovascular endurance, reduces stress and strengthens your leg muscles. It's also great for burning belly fat and toning your thighs and adds a bit of variety to spice up any exercise programme.


The intensity and effort level depends on the choreography, the pace, and the height of your step. In general, the more complex the choreography and the higher your step, the tougher the workout. The addition of weights can also help to increase the intensity of the work out as you become more confortable and confident and require a more advanced challenge!
